Skills

  1. Check installed PHP extensions: php -m.
  2. Reload Nginx: service nginx reload.
  3. Configure a domestic Composer mirror: composer config repo.packagist composer https://packagist.phpcomposer.com.
  4. Laravel 5.2 does not install authentication views by default: php artisan make:auth --views.
  5. Generate a key: php artisan key:generate.
  6. Export a database: mysqldump with the username, password, and database, redirecting the result to an SQL file: mysqldump -uUSERNAME -pPASSWORD DATABASE > DATABASE.sql.
  7. Refresh the current page: onclick="window.location.reload();".
  8. Navigate on click: onclick="document.location='http://www.baidu.com'".
  9. Chrome caches DNS. Revisiting a previously broken page may still fail; restart the browser.
  10. Convert a date to a timestamp, then format day, month, and year: date('d M Y',strtotime($value->date)).
  11. php -i provides the same environment information as phpinfo.
  12. php -m lists installed extensions.

Problems

  1. PHP 5.3 does not support the [ ] array syntax.
  2. If PHP installation fails, uninstall and reinstall. skip-broken skips broken packages:

yum install -y --skip-broken php-devel

  1. If php-fpm reports a missing user, change user and group in php-fpm.conf to the user running the process:

ERROR: [pool www] cannot get uid for user '@chuhe@'

ERROR: FPM initialization failed

  1. A locked SVN operation:
  • Run svn cleanup with the current directory.
  • Use jobs to find stopped jobs.
  • Use kill % followed by the job number for the stuck task.
  • ping idiot6.com checks server reachability.
  • telnet idiot6.com 3690 checks the port.
  1. Check how PHP was installed: rpm -qa php.
  2. Packages with devel provide development files needed when compiling another library that depends on them. Packages without it are the already compiled binaries.
  3. When the SMS verification page is embedded, the session can change with each message.
  4. Customize Laravel 5.2 pagination by changing the class attribute in BootstrapFourPresenter.php.
  5. For SQL sorting, the order by field should be an integer; otherwise it sorts by bytes.
