Wanting

1.On the path of spiritual practice, we all hope to become a Buddha today and possess wisdom that reaches across the world. The goal is good, but practice must match our actual circumstances. Once desire loses its basis in reality, it becomes a distant dream that is difficult to achieve. We must therefore understand the difference between needing and wanting: treat wants as goals to seek, and use needs to calm our troubles. 2.Wanting and needing are very different. Wanting is an attachment; needing is a passive response. Different starting points lead to different results. 3.Wanting a job and needing a job: only you know best what you truly want.
