Install Yii Basic and Advanced Editions

Install Yii 2.0 Basic

Step One: download Yii 2.0 Basic from the official site

Step Two: extract the downloaded Yii 2.0 Basic into the server’s www folder

• Edit config/web.php and add a key to the cookieValidationKey setting (Composer installation completes this automatically): +Insert a key below if empty, for cookie validation:'cookieValidationKey' => 'enter-your-key-here',

The following URL should now work:

• D:/wamp/wamp/www/abc/ooxx/basic/index.php

Install Yii 2.0 Advanced

• Step One: download Yii 2.0 Advanced from the official site
• Step Two: extract the downloaded Yii 2.0 Basic into the server’s www folder
• Step Three is particularly important. After extraction you will see the files below. Run init before accessing the Yii application in the browser, or the Advanced edition’s entry files will not be found.

After initialization, configure the database. Open the template and findcommon\configcontainingmain-local.php: enter the username, password, and database name (it must exist; create it if necessary). The database must also contain a user table, or an error will occur.

Open http://localhost/hezi/backend/web/index.php for the backend, and http://localhost/hezi/frontend/web/index.php for the frontend.
