Why read

Editorial reading note

The checked portions are Abstract; Specification/Request Flows in the pinned version. The original title is Asynchronous ERC-4626 Tokenized Vaults.

Requests extend ERC4626 for asynchronous deposits, redemptions or both. They move through Pending, Claimable and Claimed states, with the existing deposit and withdrawal interfaces used for claiming. In asynchronous deposits, requestDeposit has already transferred assets; deposit and mint do not transfer them again, while previewDeposit and previewMint must revert. Track request time, claimability and the eventual claim separately rather than treating a request as immediate completion.

Reading level: spec_text; only the sections above were checked. These notes explain normative requirements; they are not a full reading, implementation verification or security audit and do not establish implementation compliance.
